Battery Management
Follow these steps to manage the battery in the MSA G1 E.
Step Description Illustration
1 Remove the battery from the BA
1.1 Adjust the lumbar support to the lowest setting to allow clearance for the
battery to be removed.
1.2 Push the removal tool into the slot above the
battery module until it clicks into place.
1.3 Unlock the battery module with the battery
removal tool.
1.4 Pull the removal tool and battery out of the power module.
2 Charge the battery.
2.1 Use the six slot charging cradle.
Connect charge power lead and transformer together, then plug into cradle
and power point.
2.2 Place the battery in slot.
A solid red light will indicate charging
(approximately four to six hours).
Once fully charged, a solid green light will
illuminate on the charger.
