MSA G1 Electronic Breathing Apparatus
Doff the BA
It is imperative that doffing occurs after post incident decontamination has
occurred.
Follow these steps to doff the BA.
Step Description Illustration
1 Ancillary equipment.
1.1 Ensure it is a clean air environment (COLD zone) and the required post
incident decontamination has been completed.
Check the pressure in the cylinder.
1.2 Retrieve BA tally tag from the BA
Control/Entry Officer.
Re-attach the BA tally tag onto the spring
clip.
1.3 Remove gloves.
1.4 Remove helmet.
1.5 Remove flash hood up to step 3 of Doffing
flash hood procedure.
