2 Shut the BA down.
2.1 Take a breath and hold.
2.2 Place the BA in PARK mode.
Depress the red PARK button on the bottom
side of the demand valve.
2.3 Release the bottom head harness straps.
Tilt the harness buckles towards the front of
the body.
2.4 Remove the facemask and harness from the
head.
The facemask must remain hanging around the neck by the neck strap. It
can be clipped into the spring clip on the left-hand shoulder strap.
2.5 Close the cylinder valve fully.
Pull the valve out.
Rotate to turn the cylinder off.
2.6 Bleed the pressure down.
Press the PURGE button on the front of the
demand valve.
