Step Description Illustration
3 Continue the Doffing BA procedure from step 2 in chapter 4.
4 Remove the flash hood.
4.1 Remove the jacket.
4.2 Slip the hands inside the flash hood and lift
up and away from the face.
4.3 Inspect flash hood for damage.
Arrange for cleaning if required.
Flash hoods must be washed after every incident where smoke has been
encountered.
