The power module
The power module acts as a central power source and command centre, supplying
power and distributing information and data to the whole BA, including the:
control module;
demand valve;
piezo speakers;
buddy lights;
voice projection speaker;
internal clock;
primary processor;
RFID reader (not currently in use);
Bluetooth functionality (not currently enabled); and
long range radio – telemetry (not currently in use).
Data logging
The power module has a data logging feature that records information while the
control
module is turned on. The data recorded includes:
activation time;
pressure;
air consumption;
alarm activation times and durations;
temperature exposure;
shut down time;
evacuation signal (not currently enabled).
