Buddy lights
The grey DETACHMENT button also acts as a buddy light. The buddy light illuminates
yellow at pressure readings of 99 to 60 bar and red at pressure readings of 59 bar and
below. This is the only buddy light that does not illuminate green at any stage.
It will illuminate and continuously flash red when the pressure reaches 59 bar or a
primary alarm goes off.
Microphone
The demand valve integrates an internal dual microphone to provide clear
communications and eliminate inhalation noise.
The microphones are activated when the demand valve is connected to the facemask
and the operator begins breathing. The microphones are temporarily muted on
inhalation and activated on exhalation and during speech.
