5.5 Listen for audible leaks.
5.6 Turn BA off by pulling the cylinder valve out and
turning it to the OFF position.
5.7 Monitor the pressure gauge for one minute.
The pressure should not fall more than 10 bar in
one minute.
If test fails:
release the pressure in the BA by operating
the PURGE button, which is located on the
front of the demand valve;
place BA in PARK mode by depressing the
red button on the bottom side of the demand
valve; and
repeat the high pressure test.
If the test continues to fail, return the BA to State PPE&C Management Centre
with a fault report.
5.8 Release the pressure in the BA set by operating
the PURGE button, which is located on the front
of demand valve.
5.9 Once the cylinder pressure falls below 15 bar, placed the BA set into SLEEP
mode by depressing either of the green buttons twice within one second.
5.10 Place the set in PARK, by depressing the red
PARK button.
