Auto Lube Diagnosis
FIG. 73: To check for proper operation of the auto lube
system, check for movement of the plunger (1) in each of
the distribution blocks (2) of the auto lube system. The
plunger will slowly move in and out with each pump of the
auto lube system.
If the plunger is not moving, check for broken or
disconnected line between the main distribution block and
the distribution block in question or air in the lube lines.
FIG. 74: When the combine is running, the battery LED
(1) under the sealing plug must be illuminated for the auto
lube to operate. If the LED is not on then the system is not
receiving battery voltage.
The motor LED (2) will light when the auto lube pump is
activated. If the LED is on and the pump is not operating
then there is an internal electrical failure inside the system
pump.
Contact your dealer for repair.
FIG. 75: In the event of a pump failure, each distribution
block is equipped with a grease fitting (1) to manually
lubricate components.
