Removing Wheel from Combine

WARNING: Before removing the wheel
from the combine stop the engine, set the
parking brake, remove the ignition key and
take the ignition key with you.
Do not remove or install tires without the
proper tools. Attempting removal or
installation without the proper tools can
result in serious injury.
Removal of the tire from the rim and
mounting the tire on the rim must be done
by a trained tire technician.
FIG. 90: When removing the wheel from the combine,
park the combine on level ground with the parking brake
engaged. Installed wheel chocks (1) in front of and behind
the opposite wheel.
FIG. 91: Place a jack under the same side of the axle as
the tire that is to be removed.

WARNING: When lifting the combine, use a
jack able to support the weight of the
combine.
Raise the combine so the tire is off of the ground.
FIG. 92: Place a suitable jack stand (1) below the axle
and adjust the jack stand to the axle. Lower the combine
until the weight of the combine is supported by the jack
stand.
NOTE: Be sure the tire is still off of the ground.

WARNING: When supporting the combine,
use solid blocks or steel supports. Do not
use concrete blocks to support combine.
