If the burner on your Char-Broil grill won't light using the ignitor, there are several potential causes and solutions. Check that the burner is properly engaged with the control valve, ensuring the valves are positioned inside the burner tubes. Inspect the burner tubes for obstructions such as spider webs. If there's no gas flow, verify that the LP cylinder isn't empty; if it's not, refer to 'Sudden drop in gas flow'. Also, make sure the coupling nut and LP cylinder valve are fully connected, tightening it by hand until snug.
