As part of the troubleshooting process, it may be necessary to restore the 2200 Appliance to its
factory default settings. You can restore the factory default image using one of the following
methods:
Using the WebUI
Through the console boot menu
Important - Restoring factory defaults deletes all information on the appliance.
Restoring Using the WebUI
Use the WebUI of the applicable operating system to restore the appliance to the factory
default settings. You can select one of the software images that are available on the appliance.
Restoring Using the WebUI (Gaia)
To restore the appliance to its default factory configuration using the WebUI:
1. In a Web browser, navigate to
https://<appliance_ip_address>
2. Log in to the WebUI with your administrator username and password.
3. In the WebUI, click Maintenance > Factory Defaults.
The Factory Defaults window opens.
4. Select the image version to revert to.
5. Click Apply.
