Sighting the Scanner

EXPLOSION HAZARD

Failure to sight the scanner properly can cause an explosion. This Equipment must be installed and serviced by

qualified personnel in accordance with applicable local and national codes, standards, and ordinances.

Proper sighting of the flame is required for proper flame scanner detection and discrimination. The view through the

sighting port should be full flame, as illustrated below.
