Engine’s
battery-assisted start
method
In the case that the vehicle battery has
no power, the engine of the vehicle can
start by means of inputting the power
of other vehicle batteries.
The engine is connected to the battery
with the same nominal voltage (12 V)
only. Please use the jumper wire (with
the insulating clip) and the cable with
appropriate size. Please DO NOT
remove the battery from the vehicle
electrical system.
Connect the down-lead
1. Park the vehicles properly to
avoid the batteries contacting
each other.
2. Shut down the engine. And turn
off all unnecessary
electrical equipment.
3. Use the lead A to
connect the positive (+) terminal
of the power-shortage battery to
the positive (+) terminal of the
support battery.
4. Connect one end of the lead B to
the negative (-) terminal of the
support battery. And then connect
the other end of the lead B to the
metal part of the engine to be
started. The jumper wire shall be
fixed so as to avoid that it contact
the motion parts in the engine
compartment.
5. Make sure that the jumper wire
can’t interfere with the operating
parts of the engine.
Start the engine
1. Run the engine of the vehicle
equipped with support battery to
make it operate at a proper high
speed.
2. Start up the vehicles engine with
the low power battery. Start up
the vehicle with a low power
