10. MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT: Always verify that the sense of rotation of the ventilation motors follows the red arrow on top. If not, switch
two of the main phases.
10.1 CLEANING THE FILTERS
The main maintenance of the dryer is carried out by cleaning the filters it is equipped with. Proceed with any maintenance
operation only if the machine is switched off and it is at room temperature. It is recommended to clean the filters on a
monthly basis, depending on the type of fabrics that are dried.
10.2 EXHAUST FUMES FILTER
The expelled air filter is placed in the upper part of the dryer, in correspondence of the fume extraction system. To access
the filter, open the door by unscrewing the knob. The filter consists of a cylindrical frame that contains a wire mesh. Use
a dry cloth and compressed air.
10.3 CLEANING THE MOTORS
Open the fan cover of the motors and use compressed air to remove any traces of dust and textile fibers. Motors that are
excessively dirty or clogged can overheat and cause serious damage. When a motor has a malfunction, the machine
automatically shuts down itself and the red light and the acoustic alarm intervene. An error message appears on the PLC
that describes the event.
10.4 RECIRCULATING AIR FILTER
The recirculating air filter is inside the dryer: open the side panel with the sticker indicating the presence of the filter. To
remove the filter, press the locking lever so that it comes down and after having removed it from its rear guide it is possible
to extract it. Use a dry cloth and compressed air. Take care that it is placed in its guide after reassembling it.
There is a recirculating filter for each fan module. The Ace model is equipped with a single filter. Where there is the filter,
there is also a yellow sticker that indicates its presence on the side panel in front of it.
