5. HANDLING
5.1 LIFTING
The lifting must be carried out with a suitable forklift:
Capacity 20 quintals
Forks Length GREATER than Dryer Width.
Place the Dryer in a covered area, with a floor covering with a
capacity of at least 400 Kg/sqm and keep a distance of at least 1
meter from walls.
Do not move the Dryer on uneven or soft floors and do not push
on the belt conveyor extensions but always on the main body.
Always disconnect the power cord from the power outlet.
Do not use transpallets, cranes or hydraulic platforms.
5.2 HOW TO PLACE THE FORKS
The lifting must be carried out only to the lateral side.
1) Spread the forks wide open.
2) Align them to the horizontal bars of the frame.
3) When lifting always check the overall balance of the machine.
4) Check that the forks exit on the other side of the Dryer.
5.3 STABILIZE THE MACHINE AT THE LEVEL
To meet the stability requirements, the machine is equipped with wheels
and adjustable feet for proper leveling.
In the circumstance where the machinery is transported inside a wooden
cage, all the wheels and the adjustable feet are removed.
It is needed: two wrench n°19 to fix the wheels, a wrench n°30 and one
n°17 to fix the adjustable feet.
Once the oven is positioned, press the locking lever on the wheels with
brakes to prevent accidental movements.
Level the oven by adjusting the threaded feet. Open the side panels and
use the oven frame as a reference.
