4.11 LAN subsystem
The LAN subsystem consists of the following :
 Intel I219LM Gigabit Ethernet Controller (10/100/1000 Mbits/s)
 Realtek 8111H Gigabit Ethernet Controller (10/100/1000 Mbits/s)
 One RJ-45 LAN connector with integrated status LEDs
4.11.1 Intel® I219LM and Realtek® 8111H 1 Gigabit Ethernet controllers
The Intel I219LM 1 and Realtek 8111H Gigabit Ethernet Controller support the following features :
• 10/100/1000 BASE-T IEEE 802.3 compliant
• Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) IEEE802.3az
• Compliant to IEEE 802.3u Auto-Negotiation
• TCP, IP, and UDP checksum offload (for IPv4 and IPv6)
• Full device driver compatibility
• Intel® vPro™ technology
• Intel® Stable Image Platform Program (SIPP)
• Intel® Standard Manageablity
4.11.2 RJ-45 LAN connectors LEDs
Two LEDs are built into the RJ-45 LAN connectors located on the back panel (see Figure). These LEDs indicate the status of the LAN.
Table describes the LED states when the board is powered up and the LAN subsystem is operating.
