3.2 Equipment Connection to the Power Supply
3.2.1 Connections to the Power Supply
The units must be powered with DC voltage, nominal value is 13.8 V .
The connection between the head and the power supply must use cables of correct cross
section. The cable cross section must be calculated taking account of the connection length and
unit current consumption. For very long connections it is recommended that a supplementary
power supply is used. For the power supply connection, connect 13.8 Vdc and GND to pin 1 and
2 on the terminal block MS2 of the Tx and Rx circuits.
