2.2 Sensor installation
The Sioux-master and Sioux-slave sensors are placed in special shielded containers that are
inserted in specially designed boxes that will be attached to the fence in order to have maximum
transmission of disturbances. The boxes have a gasket to prevent the ingress of water and
humidity.
The Sioux-Master and Sioux-Slave boards can only be mounted inside the containers in one
way. Otherwise it is not possible to close the containers.
The screened containers have an arrow marked on the cover which is used during the
installation.
If the unit is a master the arrow indicates the direction in which it will find the Sioux-CU.
If the unit is a Slave the arrow indicates the direction of the associated Master.
Every Master has six slave capability: three to the right and three to the left.
