6.6 Checking the correct operation of safety devices
In order to ensure the safe operation of the machine, it is essential that the interlock switches on the openable
panels function correctly.
Before starting your shift (at least once a day):
1) Switch the machine on and wait until it is ready for operation (READY).
2) Open (A) the front cover (1)
3) Press START (2).
4) Check that the machine signals the "cover open" alarm.
5) Close the cover (1) and press RETURN (the machine will carry out a reset cycle and then go back to its initial
condition (READY)).
WARNING
If the test described above is unsuccessful, it means that the safety devices are not working
properly.
In this case, switch o the machine and contact technical support.
