> Press the Resume soft key and speak to the person
> You can now press the End Call soft key, and resume
the new call
HOLD
> Press the Hold button. The hold icon displays and the
Session button pulses green
> To resume the highlighted call, press the pulsing green
button, the Resume soft key, or the Select button in the
Navigation pad
Note: pressing the Hold button again does not resume
a call from hold.
END A CALL
To end a call, use one of the following steps:
> Replace the handset
> Press the Release button
> Press the End Call soft key
> Press the (lit) Speakerphone or Headset button
MUTE A CALL
During a call, press the Mute button. When mute is
activated, the button lights up red. During a video call,
pressing the Mute button will block your phone from
transmitting both video and audio to other parties on
a call. To unmute the call, press the Mute button again.
Placing and receiving calls
PLACE A CALL
Use any of the following approaches to place a call:
> Lift the handset and enter a number
> Press an (unlit) Session button on the right side
> Press the New Call soft key
> Press the (unlit) Headset button or Speakerphone button
REDIAL THE LAST NUMBER
> Press the Redial soft key
ANSWER A CALL
Use any of the following approaches to answer a call:
> Lift the handset
> Press the flashing amber Session button on the right side
> Press the Answer soft key
> Press the (unlit) Headset or Speakerphone button
CALL WAITING
If you are on an active call and another call comes through:
> Press the flashing Session key to answer the incoming
call. The original call will automatically be placed on
hold, and you will be able to speak to the new caller
> To end the new call, press the End Call soft key and to
resume the original call, press the Resume soft key
If you want to end the original call once you have
answered a new call:
> Place the new call on hold using the Hold button
> Select the original call using the Navigation pad
