7.3.2. Setting Global Variables
Set global variables to use for tag data links, and create and export a CSV file in order to use
the variables as tags in Network Configurator.
Double-click Global Variables
under Programming – Data in
the Multiview Explorer.
The Global Variables Tab Page
is displayed in the Edit Pane.
Click on a space to enter a
variable in the Name Column.
Enter EIP002_InputSignal_OUT
in the Name Column.
Enter BYTE[8] in the Data Type
Column.
After entering, check that the
data type changes to
ARRAY[0..7] OF BYTE.
Select Output from the
pull-down list of Network
Publish.
Right-click on a space under the
entered variable, and select
Create New from the menu to
add a new row.
