Operations Common to Each Mode
2. Touch 't f:, ~ on the setting item display to
select "AC-PROIII" under "SOUND" and "EQ
SELECT" under "SOUND".
3. Either touch 't f:, ~ on the right of the
display, or turn the [ROTARY] knob to select
the mode.

4. Press the [A] button to return to the original
mode.
Setting the speaker
configuration (SP-SETTING)
Set to match the speaker configuration of your
car to fully bring out the audio characteristics of
this unit.
• The factory default setting is
"SW~ + SW[;]".
1. Press the [A] button to set to the adjust
mode.
2. Touch 't f:, ~ on the setting item display to
select "SP-SETTING" under "SOUND".

Notes:
• Sound is not output from the center speaker
unless the following settings are made when
"CTR+SW" is set.
(1) Referring to "Selecting the PLII menu" (cf.
page 17), set the Dolby Pro Logic /I mode to
"MUSIC"
or "MATRIX".
(2) Referring to
"Setting speakers ON/OFF" (cf.
page 40), set the center speaker to "ON".
• Sound is not output from the sub-woofer Lch
when
llswM +sw/1l" is set and the Dolby Pro
Logic II mode is
set to "MUSIC" or "MATRIX".
4. Press the [A] button to return to the original
mode.
Setting speakers ON/OFF
(CENTER-SP/SUB-WOOFER)
Set the center speaker (CENTER-SP) and sub-
woofer (SUB-WOOFER) ON/OFF.
Be sure to set this setting to "OFF" when there
is no center speaker or sub-woofer.
• The center speaker (CENTER-SP) can be set
when the Dolby Pro Logic
II mode is set to
"MUSIC" or "MATRIX", and "SP-SETTING" is
set to "CTR-SW".
• The factory default setting is "ON".

select "CENTER-SP" under "SOUND" and
"SUB-WOOFER" under "SOUND".
3. Either touch 't f:, ~ on the right of the
display, or turn the [ROTARY] knob to select
"ON" or "OFF".
4. Press the [A] button to return to the original
mode.
