Why is there no sound coming from my Clarion Receiver?

  There could be several reasons for low or absent audio output from your Clarion Receiver. It could be due to improper audio output connections, so check the wiring and correct it if necessary. Ensure the volume isn't set too low and increase it. Damaged speakers can also cause this, consider replacing them. Check if the volume balance is heavily biased and adjust it to the center position. Insulate all speaker wiring connections in case they are in contact with metal parts of the boat. Also, ensure that the speaker power rating matches the unit, and if not, replace the speakers. Wrong or shorted speaker wiring connections can be the cause, so check and correct the wiring.

  If your Clarion Receiver won't power on, buttons don't respond, and the display is inaccurate, it might be due to a microprocessor malfunction. Turn off the power, open the front panel, and press the [RESET] button with a thin rod. Note that pressing the [RESET] button will turn off the ACC power and clear preset radio stations and titles stored in memory.
