■ installing the Tuner Amplifier Unit
Before installing the tuner amplifier unit, position
it considering safety and operability of the entire
system. (Figure 9)
Sample installation (when the unit is installed
under the front seats)
Install the unit under the front seats using the
included parts. If there are not enough space
under the seats, consult the store where you
purchased the unit.
1. Attach the mounting brackets on the left and
right side of the tuner amplifier unit using the
attached screws (M4 x 8). (Figure 9)
2. Position the tuner amplifier unit on the floor
carpet and drill holes through the carpet at
the position where the holes of the bracket fit.
3. Push the attached plastic blind clips through
the holes on the carpet into the mounting
bracket holes.

5. REMOVING THE SOURCE UNIT
1. When the back of the source unit has been
secured with the method shown in Figure 6
unfasten the special bolt.
2. Remove the outer escutcheon.
3. Insert the hook plate between the spring and
the universal mounting bracket, fit tab ®of
the spring into hole ® of the hook plate, then
pull the source unit out by the hook plate.
(Insert both the right and left edges of the
hook plate.) (Figure 10)
Note: Keep the hook plate. You cannot remove
the unit without disengaging the hook
plate.
