STEP 5: INSTALL THE IN-SERVICE CHAMBER
A brush or rubber seal is supplied for
the ‘In-service’ lid and acts as a seal
to prevent any odour emitting from
the chamber.
Add 50mm depth of bulking agent to
the chamber to create a bed. Slightly
dampen with water.
Slide the lid up onto the waste chute
from underneath.
Rotate the lid to lock the catch plates
onto the pins.
Place the chamber underneath the lid
and lower it onto the chamber.
Lock the toggle latches as shown below.
Place brush seal on inside surface of
chute extrusion as shown.
For rubber seal: Apply silicone to the inside of
the rubber seal and attach it around the rim
of the hole.

For brush seal: Remove the adhesive cover
and stick the brush seal around the inside
surface of the extrusion (see arrow).
