Loading and unloading of the platform
The MEWP can be loaded and unloaded from a truck in three ways:
4.3.1
Self loading /unloading of the MEWP
• Move truck to a safe loading/unloading location and properly park
vehicle.
• Make sure that any other assisting personnel is at a safe distance.
• Stabilize the Sup19 following the procedures described in
paragraph 4.4.2.
• If lift is loaded on a low bed truck, it may be possible to unload lift
directly from bed using the lift’s outriggers, provided truck bed is a
standard 102” wide (2592 mm). Untie any straps or chains FIRST.
DO NOT USE OUTRIGGERS TO LIFT TRUCK BODY.
OUTRIGGER PISTONS WILL BE DAMAGED. CMC/All ACCESS
IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE CAUSED TO
HYDRAULIC PISTONS OR OUTRIGGERS DAMAGED DUE TO
CARELESSNESS. OUTRIGGERS ARE DESIGNED TO ONLY
LIFT MEWP, NOT TRUCK CHASSIS.
• Lower outriggers and lift MEWP from truck bed. Drive truck from
under lift. Lower lift to ground. To load lift onto truck chassis,
reverse procedure. Be careful NOT to strike outriggers with truck
bed. Use spotter to spot and watch the procedure – from position
1(Picture20) to position 2(Picture20);

Destabilize the Sup19 following the procedures described in
paragraph 4.4.2 until you reach the position 3(Picture20);
Strap down MEWP to truck bed with appropriately sized straps or
chains.
During all procedures use appropriate safety equipment,
including the use of gloves while handling ropes and chains.
All assisting personnel must maintain a safe distance.
Always turn machine engine off during transport.
During transport, carefully pay attention to road signs, weight,
length, width and especially height regulations.
Prior to departure, check and recheck your total dimensions of
the truck with the loaded platform to insure that you are not over
height and in danger of striking bridges, wires, etc.
