Maintenance
Read carefully and follow sequentially maintenance
instructions and required safety steps.
If any service other than from the following is necessary,
request service authorization and instructions.
Operations indicated by USER are allowed to be performed by the user.
Operations indicated by CMC must only be performed only by CMC or
authorized factory certified repair centers.
Use exclusively CMC original spare parts (or acceptable name brand
genuine equivalent parts).
Frequency of maintenance is indicated in the tables below. By frequency
we mean the normal use of the equipment. For particularly rough and dirty
environments (presence of high dust, sand, etc.) service frequency will
need to be higher. Use your good sense to extend the life of your
equipment.
The correct use of the platform and a continuous regular maintenance are
critical to keep your lift in the best working condition, efficiency and safety.
Frequent washing of the equipment with a power washer (use caution with
high pressure equipment not to damage electronic components, hoses or
blast off safety decals) is important to maintain the proper operation of your
lift. Before washing, set the MEWP in travel position, disconnect electrical
extension cord, turn off combustion engineer and disconnect the battery.
