In case of
negative result
of the
inspection: Service by
The following testing
operations
must be made by using the controls
(emergency) placed on the turret and
without any personnel in the basket:
 Raising and lowering of the
telescopic upper boom;
 Raising and lowering of the
pantograph;
 Clockwise and counter
clockwise rotation of the
turret;
 Extension and retraction of the
telescopic boom;
- During testing manoeuver,
check that the basket
maintains a level position
- Check that the safety lock
valves of the stabilizers
are working properly
Keep the 0boom raised:
o Extend the stabilizers
and level the MEWP;
o Push the
“EMERGENCY”
button to shut down
compbustion engine
o Operate controls to
raise or lower
stabilizers;
THE STABILIZERS MUST NOT
MOVE
If the problem is
solvable following
the instructions
indicated in the
paragraph “Faults
– Causes -
Remedies”, read
and observe the
indications of that
paragraph.
UTILIZ.
If the
problem is not
solvable following
the instructions
indicated in the
paragraph “Faults
– Causes -
Remedies”, it is
severely
forbidden to use
the MEWP.

In case of

Service by

Check safety lock valve of
the cylinder for the
extension of the
telescopic boom works:
o Lift the telescopic
boom in vertical
position and extend it;
o Push the
“EMERGENCY”
button to stop the
engine
o operate the lever for
the telescopic boom
extension and
retraction;
- THE BOOM MUST NOT
RETRACT
- Check for safety lock valve
of the raising cylinder of
the boom works:
o Stabilize the MEWP;
o load the basket with
200 Kg (only
WEIGHTS)
It is severely forbidden to
load the basket with personnel during
the test.
o Extend the telescopic
boom;
o Push the ”EMERGENCY”
button to stop the engine;
Operate the telescopic boom
raising and descent levers;
THE TELESCOPIC BOOM
MUST NOT MOVE
If the problem is
solvable following
the instructions
indicated in the
paragraph “Faults
– Causes -
Remedies”, read
and observe the
indications of that
paragraph
USER.
If the
problem is not
solvable following
the instructions
indicated in the
paragraph “Faults
– Causes -
Remedies”, it is
severely
forbidden to use
the MEWP.
