 Approach distances for qualified employees –
Alternating current 


This aerial work platform is NOT INSULATED, even if you
have a fibreglass basket installed, you are to still consider
it non insulated.
A distance of 10 ft (3.3 meters) is the MINIMUM safe
approach distance for ANY energized electrical conductor
is required. This includes telephone wires, cable TV or
ANY electrical conductor.
ALWAYS assume that the electrical cable is live and
maintain proper safe distance, even if you are certified.
ALWAYS TURN OFF ELECTRIC POWER WHEN WORKING
ON ANY ELECTRIC APPLIANCE. “Be safe, NOT sorry”.
