Annual maintenance and safety
inspection schedule, or every 1500 hours,
whichever comes first
This aerial work platform must be rigorously
inspected annually. Annual inspections must only
be performed by a factory trained and authorized
inspectors
A complete safety inspection must be performed at
this time to include the following:
Inspect all welds for cracks or fatigue
Inspect all booms for any damage
Inspect hoses and fittings.
Torque all critical fasteners to required torque
settings.
Inspect seals on factory settings for any tampering
Inspect seals and replace them as necessary.
Apply new paint seals on all critical fasteners
Inspect decals and owners manual case including
manual.
Inspect all boom and outrigger pins for damage
Inspect all micro switches. Adjust as necessary for
proper operation.
Inspect basket for safety, damage or racking
Adjust boom slack adjusters
Tension boom lift leaf chains
Adjust hydraulic settings, if necessary
Adjust boom speeds electronically, if necessary
Upgrade control software.
Note: If any safety items fail inspection or are
missing, this aerial work platform must be
immediately taken out of service and repaired prior
to being placed back in service.
CMC
Replace any missing decals and owners manual, if
necessary.
Replace any missing or broken fasteners.
Service engine
Tighten hose fittings. Wet areas may indicate a
possible loose fitting. The heating and cooling
action of operating the hydraulic system, causes
fittings to loosen.
Replace hydraulic filters (25 micron)
Grease lift
Clean lift of debris
HYDRAULIC FLUID:
Your aerial work platform comes equipped with
GAZPROM 32 installed at the factory and does NOT
need replacement, ever. It is guaranteed for the life
of your work platform.
If fluid is replaced with any other hydraulic fluid, then
this other fluid must be replaced at this point and at
every 1500 hour interval.
Hydraulic fluid replacement procedure if using hydraulic fluids other than
GAZPROM 32:
1. Place machine in transport position. Hydraulic fluid should only be
drained when it has been properly warmed up.
2. Open drain under hydraulic tank. Drain fluid into suitable container.
Properly dispose of hydraulic fluid.
3. Open hydraulic filter housing and remove old filter. Dispose filter
properly. Carefully clean housing prior to installing new filter.
4. Replace with new hydraulic filter and tighten housing so it is snug.
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN housing and be careful not to damage O
ring.
5. Fill tank using a funnel with a 25 micron filter, being careful not to
overfill tank.
Notes: Dipstick is located inside the bung of the hydraulic fluid tank.
Hydraulic tank is located in the rear of the frame, between the rear
stabilizers. Hydraulic filter housings (2) are located on either side of
the main proportional hydraulic valves.
