Safety while performing maintenance
IGNORING SAFETY RULES DURING SERVICE CAN
SERIOUSLY INJURE SERVICE PERSONNEL AND DAMAGE
COMPONENTS IN THIS EQUIPMENT.
To assure the safety of your aerial work platform,
always use original CMC OEM replacement parts and
repairs completed only by authorized repair centers.
Critical components can only be calibrated by the
manufacturer (CMC) or in authorized service centers.
It is strictly forbidden to perform any
maintenance or service on this aerial work plaform
while it is in motion. Shut off engine, block and
support any booms being worked on. Remove
engine start up key or disconnect battery to prevent
anyone from inavertendly starting the engine.
Perform maintenance operations in a sufficiently large and clean
space suited for this aerial work platform.
Delineate and secure work area with yellow caution tape, traffic
cones or barricades to prevent entry by unauthorized persons.
Do not modify or remove the safety devices.
Do not modify any calibrated and sealed components.
During cleaning operations, use care not to blast the high
pressure power washer jet stream on the electric control panels of
this MEWP. Do not use strong abrasive cleaning agents or corrosive
chemicals, which could damage components of this MEWP (rubber
parts, painted parts, etc.).
