Change the microphone cover
The microphone cover is designed to protect the microphones from dirt
and moisture. Change the microphone cover if it looks dirty, or if you
notice a gradual loss of sound quality.
1. Place your fingernail in
the space between the
microphone cover and the
coil cable socket.
2. Lift the cover off.
3. Clip the new microphone
cover back into place,
making sure the narrow end
of the cover is facing the
earhook.
It is generally a good idea to change the microphone cover every two to
three months.
