Checking and troubleshooting
the processor
Use monitor earphones to check the sound
1. Make sure the processor is
turned on.
2. Lift the accessory socket
cover and plug the
Cochlear
Nucleus
®
CP800
Series Monitor Earphones
into the accessory socket.
3. Parent or carer can use the
monitor earphones to check
that the microphone is
picking up sound.
Use the coil wand to check the coil
1. Hold the coil wand (signal
checker) against the coil.
2. The light on the wand
illuminates if the coil is
working. No light means the
coil is not working. Contact
your clinician.
