Symptom: Sound is too loud or too quiet
Actions to try:
Try a different program (if enabled
by your clinician).
Symptom: You hear interference such as buzzing or distorted
speech
Actions to try:
Check for sources of interference
such as:
Radio and TV transmission
towers.
Shopping centres.
Airport security systems.
Digital mobile phones.
Try moving away from any
electronic device that may be
causing interference.
Ask carer to use the monitor
earphones to check the sound.
If these steps did not solve your
problem, contact your clinician.
