Symptom: Sound is too loud or too quiet
Actions to try:
Try a different program (if enabled
by your clinician).
Symptom: You hear interference such as buzzing or distorted
speech
Actions to try:
Check for sources of interference
such as:
• Radio and TV transmission
towers.
• Shopping centres.
• Airport security systems.
• Digital mobile phones.
• Try moving away from any
electronic device that may be
causing interference.
• Ask carer to use the monitor
earphones to check the sound.
If these steps did not solve your
problem, contact your clinician.
