Select OK and confirm it with OK button. The X10 will reboot automatically to update the X10.
5-7-3. Update by auto(Automatic Firmware Update by network)
X10 has the function of ‘Automatic Firmware Update through network’. If you don’t want
‘Automatic firmware update through network’, you can set this option as OFF.
※ Default is ON
5-7-4. What’s Automatic Firmware Update by network ?
This function works in case only that your X10 has firmware version over R1577 installed and your
X10 is connected to network(internet) properly. In case that higher version of firmware exists at
our server system, your X10 checks it automatically when your X10 boots up.
※ If OK is selected, X10 will try downloading and extracting it by itself. And, X10 will be rebooted
automatically for firmware updating process like below pictures.
※ If CANCEL is selected, the folder[New Firmware] is
created automatically in the internal hard disk(or USB), then
X10 does not ask Firmware Update any more when you
boot it up. If you delete [New Firmware] through Browser, it
will ask again.
[TIP] There is no actual data in the [New Firmware] folder.
