Verify GRBL connection to the product and power indicator status.
Check GRBL alarms, adjust $140 value to 16 for gyroscope alarm issues.
Check for soft limit triggers and reset the machine by clicking unlock and start.
Ensure CH340 driver is installed and check the COM port for product connection.
Verify that the baud rate in the setting parameter is correctly set to 115200.
Use Lightburn to check firmware version and update if necessary for connection issues.
If Lightburn/GRBL cannot connect, try replacing the USB cable for stable operation.
Ensure the engraved picture size does not exceed 400*400 for GRBL engraving.
Input '$$' to check and set '$20=1' to enable the soft limit switch.
Inspect the laser head's power and PWM lines for loose connections.
Measure 'POWER' and 'PWM' wire voltage at max brightness to diagnose laser module.
Ensure the laser focal length is correctly adjusted (e.g., 23mm for 5W, 45mm for 10W).
Clean the laser lens regularly if it is obscured by foreign objects for better performance.
Verify if there are any incorrect settings within the Lightburn software.
Avoid speeds below 120mm/min for thick materials or cut multiple times.
Ensure CH340 driver is installed and check the COM port for Lightburn connection.
Verify that the baud rate in the setting parameter is correctly set to 115200.
Delete existing setup parameters and reset connection parameters for Lightburn.
Disable the 'overscan' button in cutting settings to prevent immediate alarms.
Move X-axis away from limit switch and click 'set home' before engraving.
Verify Lightburn connection and product power supply with the red indicator.
Check $$ value for $140, set to 16 to prevent gyro alarms causing stops.
Right-click a macro button, enter '$X' to disarm alarms and skip return to zero.
LaserGRBL is free for Windows; Lightburn is paid with a trial for Win, Mac, Linux.
Provides download links for LaserGRBL and Lightburn software.
Ensure belts and motor timing wheels are tightened to prevent slippage.
Replace defective belts or timing pulleys to fix deformation issues.
Check for poor connections and rewire if necessary to ensure proper stopping.
Inspect limit switch positions and the main board for damage.
Check if noise originates from the structure or motor; test motor lines.
Ensure screws on both sides of the X-axis are tightened to reduce noise.
Adjust the eccentric nut for axis sliders to ensure a laminated profile.
The SD card slot is primarily for updating machine firmware via the official website.
When using the APP, the SD card must be inserted to store engraving instructions.
Laser module service life is 10000H; optical power decays after 8000H.
Regularly maintain the laser head and clean stains on the surface lens/enclosure.
Stainless steel can be engraved directly. Refer to parameters for other metals.
Iron, aluminum, copper can only be carved after a coating layer is applied.
A low-power laser with 450nm wavelength cannot cut metal.
Execute the preview command before engraving to check the boundary in weak light.
If the boundary exceeds the engraving range, move the object or laser position.
The engraving machine cannot be used on iPads or mobile phones; a computer is required.
Engrave glass/ceramics with black or tinted paper on the surface for clearer text.
For spray layers, carving speed must be fast. Use Lightburn for grayscale pictures.
Upgrade to version 2.0 to enable APP functions, optimize algorithms and speed.
Provides a Google Drive link for the latest firmware installation package.
Compatible with iOS 10+ and Android 9+. Huawei/Xiaomi may have connection issues.
Search 'Mini Laser Engraver' on App Store, Samsung App Market, or Google Play.
Ensure the WIFI module is installed by checking the green indicator on the motherboard.
Disconnect from PC software when connecting to WIFI to avoid connection failures.
Click 'Connect' in mobile settings after finding the 'COMGO Laser WIFI' network.
The mobile phone cannot access the internet after connecting to the product's WIFI.
WIFI offers better transmission rate and stability than Bluetooth; grayscale mode takes longer.
Disconnecting the phone from the APP does not affect the engraving machine's operation.
Connect the Y-axis motor line to the rotary assembly motor and set '$101=65'.
After engraving, reset the value to '$101=80'. Remove Y-axis motor cables on both sides.
