Tree
Purpose:
Displays the
path
(and,
optionally, lists
the
contents)
of
each
directory
and
subdirectory
on
the
given drive.
Syntax:
tree
[drive:]
[If]
Comments:
The
tree
command
lists
the
full
path
of
each
directory
and
sub-
directory
on
the
specified drive:.
The
drive:
option
specifies
the
drive that
you
want
to
use. If
you
do
not
specify this option,
tree
uses
the
default drive.
The
If
switch displays the names
of
the
files in
each
directory.
Example:
If
you
want
to
print
a list
of
the
directory
and
filenames
on
the
disk
in
drive
B,
you
can
use
the
following command:
tree
b:
If
>
prn
