5 Mock Location
This chapter shows how to access RTK grade result from G200 to your GIS Software
with third-party Ntrip Software( here take Lefebure NTRIP Client for Android device
as an example, and it is available from Google Play ).
5.1 Configure with CRU
Please refer to chapter 4.1 to access CRU software and connect the receiver with PC.
Send the following commands to configure the receiver output NMEA data.
log com3 gpgga ontime 1 //output gga message
interfacemode com3 auto auto on //set com3(BT) as differential port
rtkobsmode 0 //set receiver work in RTK mode
saveconfig //save configuration
Before send commands, remember to enter cursor to next row.
Refer to Appendix for detailed explain for the message.
5.2 Enable Mock Location
For many Android devices, they can get position from internal GPS/GNSS chip
and WIFI network but not accurate (generally less than 10 meters), so you need
to enable mock location on to get position from G200 receiver.
Firstly open Settings on your phone.
Scroll down to bottom and select About Phone.
Scroll down and find Build Number option, click seven times on Build
Number to make sure you are in developer mode.
Also in Settings, find Developer Options and open it.
Normally, you just need to enable Allow mock locations on. And in some
device, you should Select mock location app, then choose your Ntrip Client
tool.
