4.2 Standard CMM Overlay
1) Display - This display will provide
information, warnings and menu options
needed by the operator, maintenance
and service personnel.
2) Moisture Level Indicator - This is an
optional feature on the CMM unit and if
purchased and installed will operate as
follows.
light = air is indicated to be within
established safe limits.
Light = air is indicated to be safe but is
within 10% of the upper safe limits. This
condition should be looked into and the
condition corrected soon. There is
approximately 1 hour of continuous use
between yellow warning and red shutdown.
Light = air is indicated to be beyond

established safe limits. Compressor will shut
down and display an alarm message on the
display. Take the unit out of service. (see
section 3.8.1 and log on Daily Log Book Sheet
APP-A)
Do not try to use this unit until this issue is
resolved.
Danger!
Moisture monitoring begins only after
stabilization period has elapsed which begins
each time the compressor starts. This period
is necessary for the moisture sensor to
provide an accurate reading of the moisture
content due to the low levels being
monitored.
3) Carbon Monoxide Level Indicator - This
is a standard feature of the CMM
unit and will operate as follows.
light = air is indicated to be within
established safe limits if the unit has been
properly calibrated.
Light = air is indicated to be safe but is
within 50% of the upper safe limits. This
condition should be looked into and the
condition corrected soon.
Light = air is indicated to be beyond
established safe limits. Compressor will shut
down and display an alarm message. Take the
unit out of service. (see section 3.8.1 and log
on Daily Log Book Sheet APP-A)
Do not try to use this unit until this issue is
resolved.

4) Calibrating - This light indicates the unit
is in the process of calibrating the
electronic CO monitor. The unit may not
be used until the calibration process has
been completed.
5) Keypad - This keypad will allow the
maintenance and service personnel to
navigate through menu options and
change settings. (see section 6.3.1)
