Amplifier Communication and Protocol, Rabbit CPU
Miscellaneous Setup
Command Byte: ‘P’
Function: Miscellaneous Setup
Parameter: “ZXXXX” to set linearizer amplitude, “zXXXX” to set linearizer
phase. XXXX is a count between 0 and 4095.
Note: You can convert counts to volts using the conversion equation
V=counts*10/4096.
Compatibility: Linearizer required
Parameter: “/XXXX” to set linearizer Magnitude Slope for the current sub-
band. XXXX is a count between 0 and 4095.
Note: 1 is assumed is sub-band not set.
Parameter: “/XXXX:n” to set linearizer Magnitude Slope for sub-band n.
XXXX is a count between 0 and 4095. n = sub-band (1-4)
Parameter: “CX” to set Configuration Mode.
X is the redundancy mode you wish to operate.
0 - is the single thread no waveguide switch.
1 - is redundant system with one waveguide switch (1:1 configuration.)
2 - is power combined system with two waveguide switches (1+1
configuration)
3 - is redundant system with a load switch on the output (1:1 w/load.)
4 - 1:2 redundant system with two waveguide switches.
T - Waveguide Arc Test
S - Summary Fault Test
Parameter: IX to enable and disable Gain Temperature Compensation. X =
0 to disable; X = 1 to enable.
Parameter: JXX to set ambient room temperature in degrees C. XX = 20 to
60 degrees Celcius
Parameter: EX
X is the Ethernet mode or parameter you wish to set.
D = Bring interface Down (disable).
U = Bring interface Up (enable).
Accc... = Set domain name (15-chars max).
Hccc... = Set host name (15-chars max).
Nxxx.xxx.xxx.xxx = et netmask
Pxxxx = Set port number (default port is 2000).
Ox = Set operating mode: x = 0 for Static IP, 1 for DHCP.
Rxxx.xxx.xxx.xxx = Set router IP address.
S = Restart Ethernet interface.
Parameter: BCX
X is the parameter to set.
Axx.x = Set IF attenuation in dB.
Parameter: PXn
X = Ampliifer High Voltage state at power ON.
n Power ON state: 0 = NORMAL (the last state before Power OFF);
1 = OFF; 2 = ON.
