Contax AX - Setting and Checking the Film Speed

The film
speed can be
set
in two ways:
automatic
setting
with DX
codes and manual
setting.
The film
speed can
be checked
in
the display
panel.
When
"DX"
is
indicated in
the
display
panel,
the film
speed
is
automatically
set by the DX
code. When
using film with
DX code, no
adjustment is required.
Without
the
"DX"
mark in the
display
panel,
be sure to
set the film
speed
manually.

Turn
the main
switch
on.
While
depressing
the
I
exposure
mode lock release
button, turn the
exposure
mode
selector lever to
set
the
exoosure
mode
index
to
"lSO".
The
"DX"
or
"lSO
and
film
speed" will
be
indicated
in the
display
panel.
