Set the F-Dialto
"AF".

"SAF"
Use
this
mode if
you
want to
take
pictures
of landscapes
or still
life
securely with the
Cable
switch
L.
Aim the horizontal
split-image
spot
in
the vieMinder
at
the
subject
and
press
the F-Button.
The
camera will
automatically focus the
lens
on
the
subject and,
as soon as
it
is sharp focus,
the focus will
be
locked
so
remove
your
finger
from the F-Botton.
The
movable
body
will
stop
at
that
position.
Then, return
to
the
composition
you
want
and
take
your picture
by
pressing
the
button of the
Cable Switch L.
Focusing
mode
"CAF"
Use
this
mode when
shooting
a
moving
subject
and
focus
the lens with
the F-button
and the
shutter
tripping
with the
shutter release
securely.
o The
camera will
continue its focusing
operation while
you
are
pressing
the F-Button.
lf
you
remove
your
finger
from it, the
movable
body
will
stop
at
that
position.
