the focusing
mode to
"CAF"
and set
the
F-dialto

Aim the horizontal split-image spot at
the
subject
you

wanl to focus. Focusing
is
effected continuously
while the
shutter
release
is
depressed
halfway. Make sure
the sharp-focus
"o"
mark is on and
lock the focus by
pressing
the F-Button.
o While the focus is locked, the underside
bar of
the
back
focusing scale
in the viewfinder blinks.

While
pressing
on
the
F-Button,
return to the
rJ
composition
you
want
and
take
your
picture
by
depressing
the
shutter
release
all
the way.
r While
pressing
on the
F-Button, the focus remains
locked so that the
point
at
which the lens is
focused
does
not change even
if
you
move the camera.
o The focus
locked is
cancelled
when removing
your
finger from the F-Button.
