the
horizontal

spot
depending
on
your
composition,
lock
the focus
in the
following
manner
and shoot.
Focusing
mode
"SAF"

autofocus)

Set the focusing
mode to
"SAF"
and the F-dial
to
I "AFL''.

Aim
the horizontal
split-image
spot at the
subject
you

to focus,
and
depress the
shutter
release
halfway.
Focusing
is
effected and,
as soon as the
subject
is in
sharp focus,
the
sharp-focus
mark
"o"
in
the
vieMinder
turns
on
and the focus is locked.
