When
this mode
is
set,
you
can take
pictures
as if
you
mounted
a
1Omm
extension
ring
so
that
you
can
get
closer
to the
subject
than
the minimum
focusing
distance
of the lens
you
are using.
Focusing
is
effected
manually
in
the manualfocus
mode.
lf
you
are using
a
zoom
lens,
focus
it
after finishing
the
zooming
operation.

When
the
focusing
mode
selector lever
is
set to
r
"MACRO",
the
movable
body
will
be
set at the
maximum
moving
position
(movement
of
1Omm
from
the
base
position)
and
the
back focus
scale in
the viewfinder
will
be
displayed
as shown in
the
illustratron.

distance
ring
to focus.

o Regarding
the minimum
focusing
distance in
the macro
mode,
refer
to
page
75.
o With
float
type
lenses,
shoot
at an
aperture
as small
as
possible
to
prevent
the image
performance
around
picture
edges
from
being
reduced.

macro
lenses,
it is
impossible
to
shoot at
a
nearer
distance
even if the
macro
mode is
set. because the
lens
extension is
qreat.
