up the black
mark
on ring
of the shutter release
button
with
the mark on the
camera body
and
press
the
shutter
release
button halfway. Battery voltage
is normal
when the shutter
speed
indications
in the viewfinder
flickers
more
than once to indicate
the shutter speed set
with the shutter speed
dial.
Low
battery
indication :
When the shutter speed
indication
inside
the
viewfinder
flickers
once a second or
less, battery voltage is low. Although
the exposure
meter
will
still operate
for
sometime in this condition,
batteries
should be
replaced as soon
as
possible
to avoid
exposure
failure.
When
battery
voltage is fully
depleted, batteries must be
replaced
to operate the
exposure meter
and the
camera's electronic indications.

Replace
batteries when
they are low;
otherwise
the
exposure meter will not
function
and the LEDs
in
the
viewfinder will not light
up.
To
operate the camera without
the exposure meter:

This
camera
will
still operate without
the exposure
meter.
Just
make
sure to set the
aperture and
shutter speed according to the instructions
for the
type
of
film
you
are using.
