Use
the self-timer
when
taking
a
photographs
of the
family
or
of
groups
etc.
For
self-timer
shooting
without
camera
shake,
the camera
should
be
fixed firmly on a
tripod,
etc.
To
use the
self timer:
(1
)
Prefocus the subject
and
set the
exposure.

Engage the self-timer
by turning
self-timer
lever
in
the
direction
of the
arrow.
(See
figure.) Set
the self-
timer
lever
after
winding the
film.

After making sure that the
film has
been
wound,
press
the
release
button
to activate the timer
mechanism.
The
mirror will move
upward
and the
self-timer
will release the shutter
in
approx.
1
0
seconds.
.
Once the shutter
release
button
has
been
pressed,
it
cannot
be
reset
until after
the
picture
is
taken. Self-
timer
photographs
can be stopped before
the shutter
button
has
been
pressed
simply
by
pushing
the
self-
timer
lever
back
into its
original
position
with
your
fingers.
