The
contax
s2's
built-in
exposure
meter
utirizes
a
"spot"
metering
method
whereby
only
the
area
of the
subject
that
appears
in
the
Smm
diameter
circle
surrounding
the
microprism
in
the
center
of the
vievvfinder
is measured.
A readout
of the
shutter
speed
set for
the
exposure
for
the
photo
you
are
about
to
take
is indicated
in
thevievvfinder
when
by the
shutter
speed in
the
viewfinder
by
pressing
the release
button
hatfway.
To
adjust
the
exposure:
(1)
Point
the
lens
at the
subject,
place
the
subject
area
you
wish
to
expose
in
the
center
of the vievrrfinder
and
press
the
release
button
halfway.
(2)
Check
that
the
exposure
meter
turns
and the
LED
shutter
speed
array
along
the
right
edge
of the
viewfinder
light
up. The
viewfinder
shutter
speed
LEDs
have
the
following
meanings,
depending
on
how
they
light.
