To
take beautiful
pictures
in
perfect
focus, it is important
to hold the
camera
firmly. Most
of out-of-focus
pictures
are caused by
"camera
shake".
To minimize
camera
shake,
first
practice
to
hold
the camera
until
you get
become
use
to
it. Place
it in the
palm
of
your
left hand,
and
hold
so that
you
can
turn the focusing
distance ring
with
your
fingers. Next, rest
you
right index finger
on
lightly
on the shutter
release
button, hold
your
left
elbow
in
close
to
your
body
with
the camera held
gently
but
snug against
your
face
and
look into
the vieMinder.
When
you
release
the shutter,
always
press
the button
lightly, without
using excessive force.
The
camera
can be
held
either
horizontally
or
vertically
depending on
whether
you
wish
to have
portrait
or
landscape type frames for
your
pictures.
Select a
comfortable
posture
for
shooting.
Supportin(;
your
arms
against buildings,
trees,
etc.,
will
also help
you
hold
it
more firmly
and
minimize
camera shake,
especially at
slow shutter
speeds.
