Contax S2 - Loading the Film

This
camera uses standard 35
mm
film
cassettes.
When
removing
the
film from its
package,
be
careful
not
to
expose
it
to direct
sunlight.
(1)
Open the
camera back by
lifting
up on the
film
rewind
knob
until the back cover
pops
open.
IMPORTANT:T\e
shutter
inside
your
camera
is
a
precision part
of
the
camera
and
is made
of
a
very
delicate
material which can be scratched
or damaged
easily. When
loading film in the camera, be extra careful
that
you
do
not touch the
shutter curtain
with
your
fingers
or
hit it with the film leader. Also, be especially
careful that
you
do
not
press
the shutter
release button
while the film leader is
positioned
over
the shutter
curtain.

Insert
the
film
cassette
into the film
comparlment
and
lock
the cassette
in
place
by
returning
the
rewind knob to
its
original
position.
(Gently
turn the
knob
clockwise
to
make
it the film fit
properly.)
